Angola’s President Promotes Tourism Potential to Chinese Visitors
Angola is aiming to attract more Chinese tourists to its country, according to President Joao Lourenco. Lourenco visited China from March 14-17 and emphasized the country’s unique scenery, including beaches, sunshine, waterfalls, and wildlife.
He also mentioned the country’s potential for investment and tourist attractions. Angola, located in the southwestern part of Africa, borders the Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia, Namibia, and the Atlantic Ocean.
The country’s capital, Luanda, is situated on the Atlantic coast of northern Angola. The country’s climate is pleasant due to its high terrain and Atlantic cold current influence. Lourenco plans to establish a large nature reserve in the southeastern part of the country, the Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area.
