Brymo Calls Out Burna Boy for Song Theft

Grammy-winning musician Burna Boy has been accused of stealing the intellectual property of well-known Maverick vocalist Brymo.

Burna Boy’s songs “City Boys” and “I Told Them” are allegedly samples from Brymo’s upcoming album “Macabre.”

Brymo asserts that Burna Boy committed a “crime” and should be sentenced to jail. The well-known Maverick singer said on Instagram that Burna Boy received the previous track titles and that “Macabre” was not made available to the general public.

Brymo thinks the previous track names are the same as the hook he sings on “Macabre,” the album’s title track. He thinks the situation would get worse if myths are brought back to complain about tunes that have been taken.
