Court Restrains Do2dtun From Defaming D’banj
On-air personality Kayode Oladotun, popularly known as Do2dtun, has been restricted by an Abuja Chief District Court from making disparaging comments about musician Oladapo Oyebanjo, also known as D’banj, on social media or other platforms.
On October 18, 2023, the injunction was granted by the judge, His Honour, Emmanuel Iyanna. The court also mandated that the Deputy Inspector of Police complete an investigation into a criminal complaint D’banj filed against Do2dtun and provide a report to the court within two weeks.
Do2dtun, who was married to D’banj’s sister, Taiwo, in 2013, had been attacking D’banj on social media. Due to alleged emotional abuse, forced abortions, and domestic violence, Taiwo filed for divorce from Do2dtun.
