By Amidst Hardship, Nigeria Gov Unveils New Presidential Jet
The Presidency has unveiled the new Airbus A330 purchased under President Bola Tinubu. Amidst the cry over the cost of living, insecurity, and access to basic amenities by Nigerians, the Tinubu-led administration has yet to address all concerns and yearnings of Nigerians but instead chose to purchase a Presidential Private Jet worth over 150 Billion Naira as reported by some News media.
The question many Nigerians are asking is, why now? why is the Nigerian government acting so insensitive, like they are unbothered of the grief of the common man? What exactly is the need for this newly purchased Jet when we still have a Jet that is barely 19 years old? Even the US president, Joe Biden is still making use of its over 34 years old Jet. Why is the government keeping mum on this?
