THE MASS DIVIDE: Role Of The Conscious To The Unconscious

 No matter how deluded the masses are, no matter how confused they may sound now, we can not afford to give up on the masses, knowing fully well that the masses of the people play a crucial role in any difficult struggle.

The job of the Conscious is to make the Unconscious conscious.

The Conscious task must be clearly understood that it is not to teach the Unconscious to be conscious but to make them conscious of their unconscious behavior.

In any struggle, there must be a leader leading the struggle among other conscious leaders conveying the organize masses of the people. However, the masses of the people must also understand that No one man can self liberate the masses, only the masses can liberate themselves. In same way, no individual can self alone make any meaningful and sustainable progress until the masses of the people progress.

A typical example of a conscious revolutionary leader among the people today is Omoyele Sowore who has shown consistently an in-depth knowledge of this basic principle on the role of the Conscious in re-awakening the Unconscious, and this is a likely reason why a conscious leader like Sowore would choose to be detained and prefers to be charged to court instead of meeting a bail condition which would have translated indirectly as an admittance of guilt. Only the well aware, conscious Revolutionary can make difficult decisions like this. A more reason you will never hear a Yele speak ill of the people, threaten the people, found arresting anyone who may have illegally wronged him or sue any individual regardless of the darts they throw at him.

Just like Yele, our role as Conscious people now more than ever is to help the Unconscious with the knowledge of SELF, for the people to rediscover themselves and re-awaken their consciousness.
