Seplat’s “Magestic” Rig Accident: One Dead and Three Missing

Seplat Energy Plc has identified 92 of its Majestic rig crew members, which capsized at Ovhor in Delta State, leaving four people missing.

The oil business announced that 92 of the 96 crew members are now secure, but one person died and three other rig workers are still unaccounted for.

The company has activated rescue and emergency response teams, and the safety and well-being of affected workers and their families are prioritized.

Seplat Energy’s CEO, Roger Brown, stated that the company will provide more information as it gains more understanding of the accident and conducts a thorough inquiry into the accident’s cause.
