NADECO Calls On Akpabio To Resign Over Leadership Style

Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Senate, has been called upon to resign by the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) in the USA due to his inadequate leadership of the upper legislative house.

Akpabio was charged with subjugating his colleagues and undermining the independence and integrity of the Nigerian legislative by Lloyd Ukwu, the executive director of NADECO USA, who demanded the beginning of impeachment procedures immediately.

In addition to scrutinising executive communications and bills, the panel charged Akpabio of flouting Standing Rules.
