Reject the N160 Million SUV, Abure Urges LP Lawmakers

The N160 million official car awards to the House of Representatives have been denounced by Julius Abure, national chairman of the Labour Party, as the height of insensitivity.

Asserting both the executive and legislative branches of President Bola Tinubu’s administration showed insensitivity, Abure urged lawmakers to reject the presents.

In line with its stance on social justice and fair opportunity for all, the party is urging members of the 10th Assembly to fight against needless resource waste.

According to Abure, Nigerians would hold them accountable if they don’t act honourably or properly account for the trust voters placed in them.
