Jonathan Congratulates Tinubu After Supreme Court Ruling

Goodluck Jonathan, the former president of Nigeria, paid President Bola Tinubu a visit at the Presidential Villa to congratulate him on the Supreme Court’s decision upholding his election.

Jonathan made a plea to former presidents to band together and develop ways to lift the majority out of poverty.

Despite economic difficulties, he underlined that Nigeria must remain the continent’s leader. Jonathan pleaded for political heavyweights to put an end to hostilities and band together.

He underlined that Nigeria must express its authority and keep the President informed about foreign programmes, among other matters, during their discussions. He underlined that Nigerians, with sufficient government assistance, will overcome obstacles.
