Benin Citizens Protest Against Controversial Transgender Bobrisky

Youths in Benin staged a protest against controversial transgender Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, in Edo State.

The protest was fueled by alleged insults made in a 2022 clip where Bobrisky suggested the Oba of Benin should marry him.

The youths gathered to voice their disapproval, with placards stating “He is a bad influence; We don’t want him in our state.”

The protest escalated, and Bobrisky had to hastily leave Benin City for his safety.
