No one is coming to save us, we have to save ourselves.

At this point in Nigeria’s crisis, only a confused or deluded pastor or imam would urge their followers to “call on God” while ignoring the government’s failure. Prayers won’t fix insecurity. Silence won’t save lives. And blind faith in a system that refuses to protect its people is absolutely complicit.

If you’re still praying for Nigeria without demanding accountability, without insisting that this government either secures the nation or steps down, then you’re not just part of the problem. You are the reason we remain trapped in this cycle.
