Ajuri Ngelale Resigns From Tinubu’s Government

The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
In a recent statement issued by the Presidency on Saturday, 7th of September 2024, Chief Ajuri Ngelale said he had submitted a memo to the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, informing him of his plans to proceed on an indefinite leave of absence.
He further said he has stepped down as the Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen.
Ngelale said his decision to step down from his roles was to allow him to deal with medical matters presently affecting his family.
