Atiku, Obi absent as Tribunal Delivers Judgment

Abubakar Atiku, a former vice president and presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), are noticeably missing from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, where a ruling on their petitions is to be made.

Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, is the only significant PDP politician who is now in court.

However, Julius Abure, the national chairman of the party, represented the Labour Party.

The media was unable to immediately ascertain the causes of their absence since Atiku’s media director, Mr. Paul Ibe, would respond to their calls.

The Tribunal members, under the direction of Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, have arrived to pronounce judgement in the three petitions as of the time of this report.

Justice Tsammani has mandated that the Peter Obi and Labour Party petition judgement be given first.
