Investigation Finds Governor Akeredolu Forging Signatures

Investigations by SaharaReporters have found that Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has been forging signatures on official memos.

Official documents signed by Oleyelogun Bamidele David and Jaiyeola B.T, the Clerk of the state House of Assembly, contained Akeredolu’s signature dated 25th May.

SAN Kayode Ajulo uncovered that some members within the Ondo State government had been making official decisions in the name of the sickly Akeredolu.

The Governor’s deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, cannot constitutionally take over from Akeredolu, leaving the reigns of governance in the hands of a few ‘cabals’.

Memos signed by five different commissioners were sent into the sick governor’s office, all of which were granted approval.

Through Ajulo’s recollection, it was found that Akeredolu had previously contacted Yar’Adua upon hearing of his illness, and wished that he would return to his office to resign gracefully in order to protect his health.
