Just In: NYSC Corps Member Stabbed to Death in Kaduna

Armed criminals killed National Youth Service Corps member Grace Chalya Silas in Kaduna State by stabbing her to death.

The event happened when she was exercising early in the morning and was ambushed by thugs who wanted to grab her phone.

The suspects attempted to steal her phone while riding a bike, but they were unsuccessful. She was stabbed by a suspect with a sharp knife.

When she arrived at Harmony Hospital, the medical staff there declared her dead. A thorough inquiry was led by ASP Mansir Hassan, the public relations officer for the Kaduna State Police, who confirmed the event.

The Command would use all of its resources to prosecute the offenders, according to CP Musa Yusuf Garba, the Commissioner of Police.
