Nigerian Doctor Shares Kidney Transplant Tips in Oman

At the Oman Society of Nephrology and Transplantation (OSNT) International Nephrology Conference, medical experts from all over the globe, including Nigerian Doctor, Dr. Olalekan Olatise, were invited to speak.

Dr. Olatise, who is renowned for his remarkable contribution to the field of kidney transplants, acknowledged the challenges faced by Nigerian doctors in providing medical services. He also discussed the successful kidney transplant of celebrated Nigerian DJ, Jimmy Jatt, at his center and the complexities of acquiring the necessary equipment in Nigeria.

Furthermore, he highlighted the rarity of vascular access in the country and supported the need for a larger pool of willing donors for those in need of kidney transplants. The conference was a platform to share knowledge and gain new networks that will ensure the continued advancement of medical practices in Nigeria.
