Nigerian Football Stars Outshine at CAF 2023 Awards

African football’s best players were recognized at the CAF 2023 awards in Marrakech, Morocco.

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen won the best African male player of the year award, announcing his exceptional season with Napoli.

Asisat Oshoala won the best female African player of the year for the sixth time, showcasing her achievements with Barcelona and the Nigerian national women’s team.

Morocco’s head coach, Walid Regragui, was awarded the best African male coach of the year.

South African Desiree Ellis won the trophy in the women’s category. Al Ahly won the African Champions League club of the year for men.
