NIPOST staff reject Tinubu’s Appointment, Shut Down Head Office

The Abuja head office of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has been closed by its workers in protest of Tola Odeyemi’s appointment as CEO/Postmaster-General.

President Bola Tinubu recently made changes to the leadership of communication agencies, including NIPOST. According to NIPOST, Tinubu reappointed Adeyemi Adepoju as the Postmaster General of the Federation and CEO.

The protesting workers refused to allow Odeyemi entry, stating that her appointment went against their wishes.

However, there are reports indicating that Adeyemi Adepoju has been reinstated.
