Diop, a Pan-Africanist from Senegal, took it upon himself to prove Africa’s great heritage, its civilization, and craft.
He was envied by Europeans due to the intellectual stamina of his works that could not be denied.

For those Nigerians who always talk down on Africa, Nigeria is not Africa. Nigeria is just one country in Africa called the Nok many centuries ago. At the time of exploration and exploitation of civilised African countries, the NOK was yet to be discovered. However, even a part of the NOK now Nigeria had advanced scientifically, metallurgically, culturally, and democratically.
The Nok was not a perfect state, but the foreign explorers tagged the Nok the future and others called her the giant of Africa.
