Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji has been appointed managing director and CEO of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), while Akutah Pius Ukeyima has been named executive secretary and CEO of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC).

Both appointments were made by Nigerian President Bola Tinubu. With over 28 years of expertise in the sector,

Oyebamiji is a Banking and Finance graduate with a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Business Administration. He has also stopped Osun State Investment Company Limited’s decline.

Ukeyima, a law graduate from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria with a master’s degree in public international law, most recently held the position of Head of the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation’s Central Authority Unit for International Cooperation in Criminal Matters.

To swiftly achieve boosted revenues and investments as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda’s Blue Economy policy, President Tinubu has charged the new appointments to diligently follow the policies and programmes of the Honourable Minister.
