French President Demands Appreciation From African Countries

French President Emmanuel Macron has faced huge backlash across all social media for demanding appreciation from African countries.

In an annual policy conference, Emmanuel Macron said that African countries should be grateful to France. Emmanuel said; “I think African leaders forgot to thank us, but that’s okay, it will come with time, in gratitude, and I know what I’m talking about, is a disease that cannot be transmitted to humans.

This did not go down well with many Africans across social medias, as they asked, ” What are we suppose to thank you for? are we to thank you for colonizing us, and stealing our resources”?
