Fuji Legend KWAM 1’s Daughter Appointed Senior Special Assistant on Tourism by Lagos Governor Amid Economic Hardships

Basirat Damilola Marshall, the daughter of veteran Fuji singer King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, has been appointed by Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as his Senior Special Assistant on Tourism.

The singer, a loyalist of Nigeria’s President and former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, has expressed disappointment with the economic hardships faced by Nigerians under Tinubu’s government. KWAM 1 had previously promised that if Tinubu assumed office, Nigeria would be blessed, but the singer urged him to address the citizens’ suffering, stating that fuel and dollars have become expensive, and people earning salaries cannot use them for meaningful purposes.

The singer also urged Tinubu not to be deceived and to listen to the citizens’ wailing and find lasting solutions to the plight of Nigerians. Basirat Damilola Marshall’s appointment comes after KWAM 1 lamented the economic hardships faced by Nigerians under Tinubu’s administration.
