Hugo Broos, the coach of South Africa, was critical of his team’s 4-2 penalty shootout victory over Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Broos emphasized how difficult it was for his squad to accept the loss.
The team had a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes but missed a chance to win in the 90th minute when Khuliso Mudau missed a shot over the bar.
