If there is anything we need to learn from Olamide, it is his belief in his craft, conviction, perfection & consistency. Win or not Olamide has set the pace. The song Amapiano by Asake & Olamide graced both Olamide & Asake’s crafts to appear in the best music performance category.

Seun Kuti is a sure plug when it comes to good music that will awaken one’s political consciousness which is what Africa needs right now.

Seun has been nominated for Grammy in the past, but this time he featured twice in an album by Janelle Monae which got two Grammy Nominations: Album of the year, and Best progressive R & B Album of the year:- [The Age of Pleasure].

Songs: FLOAT ft Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, and also KNOW BETTER ft Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 & Ckay. Both songs were top streamed abroad.

While Grammy-winning star, Burna Boy bagged a total of four, Davido, in his first bite, bagged three nominations. Asake, Arya Starr, and Olamide got one nomination apiece. They were all nominated in the maiden Best African Music Performance category alongside South Africa’s Tyla.
