By Portable’s Bitter Lament: Carterefe Wants to Snatch Young Duu
The controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has accused fellow musician Carterefe of “stealing” Young Duu.
According to online media, Carterefe and Young Duu collaborated on a song called “Oyinmo,” which was published on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Young Duu recently parted ways with Zeh Nation, the record label of the “Zazu” crooner.
In response, Portable claimed in a live Instagram session with followers that Carterefe was “blackmailing” him since he was going to release his album by employing Young Duu, a previous signee.
“Hello ladies and gentlemen,” Portable said in Pidgin. Carterefe know that if I don’t share my album, they’ll blackmail me. They utilise my boy, they get into me, Young Duu.
“Boy that I bought into the industry and took like my son, they’ve stolen him from me. This world is a wicked place.”
