The Kangaroo Unjust Detention Of Dele Farotimi

The level of impunity and anyhowism displayed in Nigeria by those in power keeps thriving because Nigerians allowed it. Until we collectively learn the act of standing and speaking for those who speak for us regardless of their position and political affiliation, nothing will change, Oppressors will thrive.

We must not allow injustice thrive, because injustice to one is a threat to justice to all. Instead of sitting on the fence and do nothing, saying “if it happens to Uncle Dele e fit happen to you”; we should by now start organizing to put an end to lawlessness.

Only Nigerians can put an end to the impunity perpetuated by many of those in power. Even if you are not a fan of Mr Dele, that should not rule out his position as an ally and role towards nation building. We all must stand by him regardless of our ideological differences.
