Tinubu Determined to Succeed by Any Means Necessary

In order to bring Nigeria out of its current predicament, President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his commitment to leading the nation into a better future and promised to use all available means.

At the ‘Delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda’ 2023 Cabinet Retreat, Tinubu called on ministers, presidential aides, permanent secretaries, and other high-ranking government officials to take the lead in promoting democracy and serve as a model for Africa in the long run.

Instead of harbouring animosity against their superiors, he exhorted them to be patriotic. After taking on the responsibilities of his predecessors, Tinubu also accepted the difficult responsibility of guiding the nation through social and economic recovery.

The president highlighted that the two most important tools in the fight against poverty are education and health care. In addition, he demanded government employees to sign a bond of performance and announced monthly evaluations of them.

He begged them to be kind and lift 50 million people out of poverty. The Ministerial Performance Bond, which will be reviewed on a regular basis, will be signed by each participant in the three-day retreat.
