By 91 Year Old Cameroon President Paul Biya To Contest In 2025
Cameroon will be due to hold its next presidential election in 2025, in which Paul Biya will be 92 by that time.
At age 91, Paul Biya is one of the world’s oldest and longest-serving presidents, having been in power since 1982. Before Paul Biya’s role as Cameroonian president, he was in office as Cameroonian Prime minister for seven years, from 1975 to 1982Before ascending to the highest office, Biya served as the country’s Prime Minister for seven years, from 1975 to 1982, under then-President Ahmadou Ahidjo.
