The Nigeria Squash Federation (NSF) has taken a bold step toward transforming the future of squash in the country with the launch of its 1st Grassroots Coaching Course for Nigeria Squash Coaches. Held from January 15th to 17th, 2026, at the Squash Court, Package B, Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, the event marks a pivotal moment in the federation’s renewed commitment to grassroots empowerment and junior athlete development.

Running daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the three-day course is designed to equip local coaches with modern training methodologies, technical skills, and pedagogical strategies tailored to nurturing young squash talent. With the theme “A step towards NSF’s new playing philosophy,” the program reflects a strategic shift in how the sport is taught, played, and promoted across Nigeria.
