The Abuja gathering was marked by spirited debates, cultural displays, and renewed calls for grassroots mobilization. Delegates emphasized the AAC’s commitment to transparency, people-centered governance, and resistance to corruption.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Sowore urged members to “carry the torch of liberation into every community,” stressing that the newly elected NWC must serve as “the engine of accountability and people’s power.”

The official register of officers was certified and signed by Kayode Babayomi (Chairman) and Amb. Umar Y. Abubakar (Secretary) of the Convention Planning Committee, formally recognizing the legitimacy of the new leadership.
