Climate Activists Face Shrinking Space at COP28 Conference

Activists at the United Nations climate talks have reported a shrinking space for their demands, despite record attendance.

In Dubai, activists sang their demands for justice during the COP28 conference.

Jesse David, from the Pan African climate justice alliance, aims to show that the youth have a voice in the climate discourse and can channel impact through creative means.

He believes everyone has a role to play in policy and negotiation groups.

Pro-testors argue that this year’s demonstrators have been limited in the number of people allowed to participate and the climate issues they can address. The conference of parties will end on December 12.
