By Ethiopian Airline No longer Interested In Setting Up Nigeria’s National Carrier
Bekele Mesfin Tasew, the CEO of Ethiopian Airlines has said it no longer has any intentions to set up a national carrier for Nigeria.
The Ethiopian Airlines CEO, Bekele, disclosed sometime in June 2024 that the Nigerian government had decided to abandon the proposed Nigeria Air project.
In a recent video interview with Bloomberg Africa, Bekele said plans for Ethiopian Airlines to establish a carrier together with institutional investors and the Nigerian government has ended.
