Miraculous Rescues Unfold as More Survivors Found in South Africa Building Collapse Tragedy
Rescue teams in South Africa have discovered more survivors following the collapse of an apartment complex in George, South Africa. Seven fatalities have been confirmed.
Utilizing line analysis and advanced equipment, the team successfully triangulated and located the victims. Authorities have disclosed that 26 workers were saved from the location where the five-story structure crumbled on Monday.
An additional 42 individuals are thought to be trapped under the rubble of concrete and metal scaffolding. Rescuers expressed optimism about finding more survivors after establishing contact with 11 workers trapped in the debris.
Five survivors were rescued on Tuesday, supplementing the 21 found on Monday. There were 75 construction workers present at the site during the collapse.
The exact number of individuals rescued remains uncertain, but it is believed that more individuals are still trapped under the debris.
