Honoring 20 Years Of Impact: The Story of the Sowore Foundation

Two decades ago, the Sowore Foundation was founded in Kiribo, Ondo State, to preserve the legacy of our late father—a devoted teacher, community leader, and father of sixteen. From modest origins, the foundation has evolved into a symbol of hope and progress, transforming lives across Ondo State and beyond.
Advancing Education and Skill Development
Through scholarships for students, grants for undergraduates, and support for skilled artisans, the foundation has empowered individuals to reach their aspirations and improve their livelihoods. By directly impacting 350 lives annually, we nurture growth, unity, and community-driven development.
Championing Clean Water and Sustainability
Providing access to clean drinking water has been a core focus of our efforts. In underserved communities, we have delivered safe water solutions and initiated projects to combat oil pollution and climate change, working to restore freshwater ecosystems and secure a sustainable future for generations.
Strengthening Community Infrastructure
The foundation enhances security and mobility by installing streetlights and fosters tourism and cultural pride through the creation of a scenic boardwalk. We also unite communities through events such as marathons, fishing contests, and boat races, promoting engagement and local heritage.
A Commitment to Inclusive Growth
As we commemorate 20 years of service, the Sowore Foundation remains dedicated to transforming lives and championing equitable development. Together, we can unlock opportunities, inspire transformation, and create a brighter, more sustainable future.
Support. Advocate. Volunteer. The journey continues—join us in building a better tomorrow.
