Three Nigerian Qualifies For Long Jump Finals – Olympics 2024

The historic and unprecedented feat sees three Nigerians represented by Ese Brume, Ruth Usoro, and Prestina Ochonogor, who have all secured their spots in the highly anticipated final of the long jump event at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Three out of the twelve finalists are Nigerians!

Ese Brume led the trio as she saved the best for last, leaping an automatic qualifying mark of 6.76m to book her spot in the final.

Ese Brume is currently the first athlete to win four long jump titles in African Championship history, winning the crown three times consecutively in 2014, 2016, and 2018.
