Kenya Airways Workers Unjustly Detained by Congo Army: Customs Dispute Escalates

Kenya Airways (KQ) has accused the Democratic Republic of Congo’s army of detaining two of its workers despite a court’s decision to release them.

The employees were arrested for lacking proper customs documents for valuable cargo.

Despite KQ’s explanation that they didn’t accept the cargo due to incomplete paperwork, the military detained them until Tuesday.

Despite a court order for their release, they are still held without communication by the military intelligence unit.
